ZenWoman is 8-weeks of guided meditation, mindfulness and gratitude practice for the woman who absolutely does it all; except when it comes to slowing down and looking after herself.

Many women find themselves caught up in the daily tasks of taking care of children, partners, parents and work first; only to turn up empty handed, out of time and exhausted when it comes to looking after themselves.  

We tell ourselves, 

"I'll relax and do something for myself next week." 

But what we really need is to give ourselves a daily dose of self love.  

We need a way to relax our minds even when we are in the thick of it.  

We need to be able to find our grounded center of calm and peace within the chaos.

ZenWoman combines the ancient methods of meditation with modern science into a guided 8 - week program that makes your meditation and mindfulness practice approachable, doable and rewarding. 

With practice, the skills learned in ZenWoman can change your brain.   

Meditation can shrink the Amygdala alarm centers in the brain and reduce the stress response.
Mindfulness helps train focused attention, improves productivity and reduces scattered brain fog symptoms.

Will I have to sit for hours on end to do ZenWoman?

No not at all.  The meditation practices start at just 5 minutes a day for the first week and then gradually increases to 25 minutes by week 7. You can choose any position; lying down or sitting, that you find comfortable for your meditations.

Will I need any special equipment?

You will need a device with Zoom downloaded onto it and you may consider earphones or headphones for privacy.

Do I need special clothes?

Not really, just wear something you can sit or lie down in comfortably.

Do I need to bring anything?

Bring your ZenWoman Booklet or other journal, something to drink and your comfortable meditation space.

Will the Zoom session be recorded for viewing later?

No, ZenWoman sessions will not be recorded.  We want to create a trusting space where you and the other women in the group feel that they can be candid and share information about their progress through the course.  Respecting each participants privacy and trust is paramount to everyone's investment and success in the program.

What if I'm not feeling at my best and miss a session?

This is a 7-week program spaced out over 7 consecutive weeks unless otherwise arranged by the program administrator.  If you miss an online group session, you will still receive your weekly emails containing that week's guided meditation.  That, along with your program journal and access to your WhatsApp Support Group will keep you on track.
